Oh man. This wedding was the BEST. Morgan and Kenny are the cutest couple (check out their engagement session, here)!
First we met at Morgan and Kenny’s house to capture the girls getting ready and these girls were so much fun! I could tell we would have an awesome day from the start. We then headed over to the first look area and as you’ll see in the commentary below was Morgan and Kenny’s favorite part of the day – it was mine too. I especially loved that in addition to their first look, she had one planned for her brother, too. He can be seen standing off to the side patiently waiting!
We later did a first look for Morgan’s dad at the golf club…gosh I could photograph those all day! The ceremony was beautiful, the toasts so heartfelt, the dancing – off the hook! These guys know how to party!
Enjoy the Q&A below and then onward to the photos! Congratulations, thanks for letting me be a part of this amazing day.
Q&A with the B&G
Favorite part of your wedding day?
My (Morgan) favorite part of our wedding day was when we had our first look. That moment was so special and something just for the two of us to share. Once I saw Kenny, my nerves completely calmed. Everything else didn’t seem to matter after that point. I was with my best friend and I knew everything would go as it was meant to be. That will be a moment that I will never forget.
My (Kenny) favorite part of our wedding day was our first look because of the anticipation of seeing Morgan. Once I finally got to see her, I saw just how stunning she looked. Having that moment between just the two of us was something special we got to share with one another before everything got crazy and time flew by.
Honeymoon – Where did you go? What did you love? Tell us about it!
We traveled to southern California. We first flew into LA and drove down the coast, making stops at different beaches along the way. Our final destination was San Diego. We stayed at Paradise Point Resort and absolutely loved it! Our favorite part about our honeymoon was being able to spend time together with no distractions from work, wedding things, telephones, or household chores. One of the best evenings was when we spent time in Little Italy.
Advice for future brides and grooms?
Everyone tells you that your wedding day flies by and you don’t believe it until its YOUR wedding day! Take time to sit back and soak it all in. We found the best time was at dinner. That was the moment when we were able to admire our gorgeous reception with all the details and watch our friends and family having a great time. It is also important to make sure you have fun at your own wedding reception. Do what is important to you, whether that be dancing on the dance floor or sitting down with old friends and catching up. We took the time to go around to all of the tables to greet our guests, but at one point we just hit the dance floor and enjoyed the party!
I (Morgan) would say not to stress about the details but I know it certainly did. Just try to not let the stress get too high 🙂
