Adriana and Neal had such a cute wedding with a great, personally meaningful theme. There was a little hitch in the plans as originally the ceremony was set to take place in a field but the very wet early summer kept that from being a viable option. Thankfully the Miller Community Center provided a beautiful garden for a ceremony just outside the banquet hall. The #archivistwedding was perfect. Thank you for letting me be a part of your gorgeous, *warm* day! 🙂
Q&A with the B&G
Favorite part of your wedding day?
We were excited to see so many people we love all gathered in one place and to incorporate little touches of what we love throughout the wedding day, like our library-themed centerpieces with encyclopedias and checkout cards with our wedding date stamped on them.
Honeymoon – Where did you go? What did you love? Tell us about it!
We went to Union Pier, Michigan, where we spent a few days enjoying the sunshine, watching very determined children hold sandcastle construction competitions, and looking at libraries in the small towns of southwest Michigan. We always manage to stumble upon the libraries.
Advice for future brides and grooms?
Be flexible, have a backup plan, and know which details of the wedding are most important to you so you can budget your time and energy accordingly. You can’t control every detail, but can be sure you include the few specific things that are most important to you.
Also, the advice you’ll hear from everyone else is true: the whole day will be a blur, so when you get a chance to soak in your surroundings, do it.
Any words to family and friends viewing your photos?
Thank you for being part of our wedding! We could not have had the day work as smoothly (or at all!) without a lot of help from our family and friends.
