Krystal and Darren got married at Pendleton Falls Park in Pendleton, Indiana on July 12, 2014. I had never shot a wedding at this location and was loving all of the great photo locations we found in such close proximity! They were both stunning and we created some amazing portraits. Love when the timeline allows for a nice relaxing wedding day photo shoot with a bride and groom! It’s truly one of my favorite parts of a wedding and I love that it also gives the couple a chance to just hang out together alone for a bit. I’m so excited to share these images with them as I know they’ve been really excited to see them!
Q&A with the B&G:
Favorite part of your wedding day?
“The favorite part of my wedding day I would have to say was the intimate nature of the day. The secluded setting with family and close friends made the day perfect. Spending the time alone with my love before the wedding taking photographs made it special for us. It gave us a chance to see each other for the first time without anyone else around. The two hours we spent together laughing before the wedding while posing for photos made the day about us without all the comotion that came later in the day. My now husband said that his favorite part of our wedding day was seeing me for the first time in my wedding dress.”
Honeymoon – Where did you go? What did you love? Tell us about it!
“We went to Florida for our after wedding vacation. I say this because we took my daughter with us. We are planning to take a honeymoon at a later date. The get away was wonderful, exactly what we needed after all of the planning and stress that goes into the wedding planning venture. We both love the ocean more than words can say, so that is what we loved most about the trip.”
Advice for future brides and grooms?
“Give yourself ample planning time. I pulled our wedding together in three months and although it worked out exactly how I had always pictured it, the stress was overwhelming. On the day itself I would say laugh, cry, and enjoy the moments that are the beginning, a pathway to forever. The real work starts after the wedding day putting your all into making the relationship be all that you ever dreamed.”
Any words to family and friends viewing your photos?
“Please enjoy the photos as much as we do, and we would like to thank you for all for being a part of our special day. It would not have been perfect without you!”
“A special thank you goes out to Jessica Dingledy for being a wonderful, creative photographer. You captured our day in a way we could have never imagined possible.”
Thank you Krystal and Darren for letting me capture your day, enjoy!
