Ross & Ashley: Indianapolis Engagement Photographer

I’m so fortunate to work with ridiculously amazing people. I feel like I need to share the back story behind how these photos came to be because it’s the sweetest story involving some of the kindest people I’ve worked with.

About a year ago, Ashley contacted me because she wanted to gift a photo session to her newly engaged sister, Emily and brother-in-law-to-be, Greg. Sweetest gesture, ever. We met at Eagle Creek Park for their photos, and this August I photographed their wedding at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Towards the end of the reception, Ashley came up to me and excitedly announced that her and Ross were engaged! A few weeks later, Emily contacted me to gift an engagement session to Ashley and Ross. I love how sweet they are and I know their wedding will be something truly special, and we’ll create some amazing images at their gorgeous venue. Can’t wait!

When Ashley and I were talking about her engagement session, she mentioned that she had set up a gondola ride from Old World Gondoliers on the Canal Walk in downtown Indianapolis. I was pumped! Obviously this would be a new experience for me and I thought it was so creative! So below you’ll find some of my favorites from their ride, along with some photos that we captured as we strolled along the canal after the ride. You’ll notice a monogrammed blanket, too. They think of everything! Super excited to see what the future holds for these two.
